Perinatal therapy at Brave Collective Studio is for mothers navigating:
Birth trauma — emergency interventions, loss of control, or experiences that left your body feeling unsafe
Postnatal distress — anxiety, numbness, anger, shutdown, or feeling “not yourself” in motherhood
Perinatal grief — miscarriage, TFMR, stillbirth, medical complications, or invisible loss
Identity loss and shifts — the disorientation that can come with matrescence, especially when your inner world no longer matches the outer roles you’re expected to fulfil.
What Therapy Looks Like
Sessions may include:
Trauma-informed talk therapy
Creative or expressive processing (if words feel too sharp or too far away)
Nervous system education and body-based regulation
Grief and meaning-making
Space to reconnect with yourself — not as a mother, but as you
