Welcome to Brave Collective

A space for those who hold so much — Mothers, Educators & Teens.

Brave Collective Studio offers trauma-informed counselling across three key areas:

  • Perinatal Therapy – Supporting mothers navigating birth trauma, postnatal distress, identity loss, and grief.

  • In-House Staff Counselling - Practical, confidential emotional wellbeing support delivered onsite for staff and service leaders.

  • Creative Therapy for Women & Teens – Grounded, art-based support for those exploring sexual wellbeing, body-based trauma, identity shifts and self-reclamation.

My Background

I’m a qualified counsellor and trauma-informed practitioner with over a decade of experience supporting children, families, and educators inside and outside the therapy room.

Before stepping into counselling, I spent 10 years working in early childhood education, starting as a trainee and becoming an Assistant Director. I’ve worked across extended day care and early learning settings, gaining a deep understanding of the emotional demands placed on educators and families alike.

Alongside this, I ran a postnatal personal training business, working closely with mums and their bubs during one of the most vulnerable stages of life.

In my counselling work, I’ve also stepped into leadership, acting as an Educational Lead within my service. I supported fellow clinicians, ran emotional regulation programs for neurodiverse children, and helped shape trauma-informed approaches across schools and early childhood centres.

I hold a Diploma of Counselling and am completing my Bachelor of Counselling. My work is grounded in additional training in:

  • Suicide intervention (ASIST)

  • Trauma and dissociation (Blue Knot Foundation)

  • ACT Therapy (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)

  • Perinatal grief, antenatal/postnatal anxiety and depression.

  • Strength-based and solution-focused counselling

  • Expressive and creative therapies for emotional regulation

I am a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and hold a current Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card), a recent National Police Check, First Aid Certificate, and full professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

My approach is grounded in nervous system care, creative expression, and deep respect for the emotional weight many educators and caregivers carry.
